“Depth psychology unlocks the doors leading to a deeper understanding of the unknown Self, the unconscious.”

What is Depth PsychoTherapy?

A Different Kind of Therapy

Rooted in the work of Carl Jung, the founder of analytical psychology, depth psychology looks beyond symptom relief to the deeper process of individuation—the unfolding of a more authentic, integrated self.

Rather than asking only how to reduce dis-ease, this work also asks:

What is beneath it?
What is it connected to?
What is it asking of you?

This approach looks beyond symptoms to find underlying symbols and meaning. Together we will explore unconscious material in a way that has the power to support lasting transformation, rather than temporary relief.

In her practice, Dr. Angelina engages this approach through Jungian art therapy, dream work, and experiential ritual, creating a space for the psyche to be encountered, not just understood.

Depth Oriented Areas of Focus

What is Calling Your Attention

At times what you are experiencing does not resolve. It lingers. It returns. It asks to be understood differently.

You may notice symptoms such as:

  • anxiety or low mood beneath the surface
  • grief, loss, or emotional disconnection
  • recurring patterns in relationships
  • questions of direction, or meaning
  • addiction and compulsive patterns
  • a sense that something no longer fits

These are not random experiences. They often mark the beginning of a process of change. A movement toward a more authentic change and what Jung calls “individuation”. This is the perspective that guides the work that follows.

Listening to the Psyche

Meet Dr. Angelina H. Rodriguez

As an artist, inspiration has always come from within. Images emerged through dreams, memories, or places that felt both familiar and unknown. Some felt peaceful or playful. Others carried fear, tension, or emotions I could not immediately understand.

Over time, I became curious about where these images originated and what they were trying to express. That search led me to Jungian depth psychology.

Through this process, I learned to listen more closely to the psyche and understand how images, symbols, and dreams can reveal deeper layers of meaning within our lives. The experience has shaped the way I’ve worked with clients for more than 20 years.

Whether we recognize it or not, images present themselves to all of us in different ways. Together, we explore the symbols, patterns, and emotional undercurrents that may be emerging through your inner life. Through Jungian art therapy, dream work, and ritual experiences, we begin to understand what may be asking for attention, healing, and transformation.

Join me in exploring the deeper patterns shaping your life and the journey toward a more authentic self
